Looking for a New Camera?

When the time comes to look for a new camera, one of the best places to start is Steve's DigiCams (this Steve is not me, by-the-way). After spending a few minutes becoming familar with the layout of the site, you will quickly see that you can narrow your search down to only a handful of cameras you might want to look at in a store. Initial Post ... and Goals!

As I strive to become a better photographer, and migrate away from using the "auto" setting on my Olympus E500, I will be posting photos for your critical review and suggestions. One of my goals as a young boy was to be able to take "good" photos. But, never seeming to have the time to develop my skills, I have always settled for point and shoot photography. Since I now have some extra time, being "semi-retired", let's see what will happen in manual mode!
